Fields of Lore

Here is a list of the fields of Lore and what each means.

Acoustics
The lore of sound.

Aeronautics
The lore which tells how a plane is planned, built and flown to a spot on a map.

Agronomy
The lore of soil and how to make sure things grow well in it.

Anatomy
The lore of things which live and their parts.

Anthropology
The lore of how men came to be, how they act, and how they grew to be the way they are in form, in thought and in groups.

Archaeology
The lore of how men lived in the past based on ken of the things that were left when they passed from the Earth.

Astronomy
The lore of that which lies past the Earth.

Astrophysics
The part of that which lies past the Earth which has to do with how stars work.

Bacteriology
The lore of germs and the way they change (or could change) the ways we heal and grow things.

Biochemistry
The lore of how the small parts of that which is can change the way that which lives works.

Biology
The lore of life and things which live.

Botany
The lore of plants.

Cardiology
The lore of the heart and how to heal it.

Cartography
The art and lore which tells how to draw maps or charts.

Chemistry
The lore of the way stuff is built from the bits that no man could see with his bare eye. It looks at how things are built, how they line up once built, and what will come when two things are mixed.

Cosmology
The lore of the All which is when thought of as all things which can be done or which can be in space and time

Crystallography
The lore of things which are made of all the same small parts which have formed the same shapes more than once as they joined.

Ecology
The lore of things which live and the spots where they live.

Embryology
The lore of how things which live are formed, first grow and then how they come to their full growth.

Endocrinology
The lore of the glands of man.

Entomology
The lore of bugs.

Enzymology
The lore of things which are made by those which live to cause change in the things which are in them but which do not change as part of their work in the change of those things which have come to be in them.

Forestry
The lore of trees and how to make them grow well in large stands.

Genetics
The lore of genes and how they make the son like the dad and mom.

Geochemistry
The lore of the way things like the Earth are made and how they can change through time.

Geodesy
The lore of of the size and shape of the Earth.

Geography
The lore of the earth and its parts like lands and seas.

Geology
The lore of the start, the change through time and the way the Earth is built.

Geophysics
The lore of the way things act as it is linked to the Earth.

Hematology
The lore of the blood and the parts which make it.

Histology
The lore of the way beast and plant parts are built.

Horology
The lore of time and of how to build things to gauge it.

Hydrology
The lore of the ways of H2O and how it can change the Earth.

Ichthyology
The lore of fish.

Immunology
The lore of the parts of a man which fight to keep him well.

Linguistics
The lore of words and how they are formed and said.

Mechanics
The lore of tools and how they are built and used.

Medicine
The lore of how man gets sick or hurt and how to make him well once more.

Meteorology
The lore of the skies and what and when stuff like rain or snow will fall or clouds will form or storms will come.

Metrology
The lore of the ways to gauge things.

Microbiology
The lore of the most small things which live and how they mix with the rest of the things which live.

Mineralogy
The lore of rocks which tells us where to find them, what to call them and what they do.

Mycology
The lore of plants which are not green and do not need the sun to grow.

Neurology
The lore of the parts of a man which link the parts of a man and the ways it can be messed up.

Nucleonics
The lore of the ways the part at the core of a cell acts.

Nutrition
The lore of food and the way it helps things grow and live.

Oceanography
The lore of the seas.

Oncology
The lore of the way things may grow in man that should not be there. This tells how it comes to be, what it does and how to get rid of them.

Optics
The lore of light and sight.

Paleontology
The lore of life through the trace it leaves on stone and rock.

Pathology
The lore of things which make man sick and how they come to be, how they can be cured or kept out in the first place and what change they will make to a man.

Petrology
The lore of the way rocks come to be, are made, what they are made of and how they can change or are changed.

Pharmacology
The ken of how drugs can be made and used and what they will do to those who use them.

Physics
The lore of things and that which lets them move or change and the way the two are linked.

Physiology
The lore of the way that which lives works.

Psychology
The lore of the way we think and how it makes us act.

Robotics
The lore of the ways to make, build and use tools which can do things on their own based on a set of rules which let them choose what to do next.

Seismology
The lore of quakes of the Earth

Spectroscopy
The lore of light which glows.

Systematics
The lore of the ways to group things based on set rules.

Thermodadnamics
Lore of the change in the way heat moves based on where your dad is in the house. This is a small field, but it is hard to ken. It is a lore that deals with those who asks things like "Why must the door be closed to save heat (or cool) when Dad is not in his chair when there is no change of heat when he is in his chair?" or "How can the rules of lore work in more than one way based on where one man sits?" Does he make the rules of the world for real, or is it just in his head?'"

Thermodynamics
The lore of the way heat is linked or changed to ways to do work in some form which is not heat.

Toxicology
The lore of things which are made to kill or harm when they are touched or used as food and how to keep those who touch or eat them safe.

Virology
The lore of dead RNA or DNA which needs a host cell to grow and the way they harm the host cell and the beast or plant of which the host cell is a part.

Volcanology
The lore of holes in the Earth's crust through which hot rocks, ash and gas are passed.

Zoology
the lore of the way beasts are made, grow, act, and are grouped based on set rules.
